How does Wazen connect to WhatsApp?
You link a WhatsApp number the same way you link WhatsApp Web: scan a QR code from the phone's Linked devices screen. Wazen then sends and receives through that number, and your code talks to Wazen over a REST API.
Is this the official WhatsApp Business API?
No. The official API needs Meta approval, message templates and per-conversation fees. Wazen works with an ordinary WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business number, so you can start in minutes. The trade-off is that you should follow WhatsApp's rules yourself: message people who expect to hear from you.
Should I use a dedicated number?
Yes, we recommend a number used only for your business. Any number that can run WhatsApp works.
What is number warming?
New numbers that suddenly send a lot can get restricted. Warming builds up a new number's activity over 14 days, and every message is paced with natural gaps. It's included on every paid plan.
What do I get in the free trial?
7 days, no card needed, with 1 WhatsApp number, up to 150 messages and 5 different chats a day, and every feature except number warming. When you pick a plan the limits go away.
Are there message limits on paid plans?
There are no message caps or per-message fees. Sending is paced to protect your number, and new numbers ramp up during warming.
Can AI agents use Wazen?
Yes. Wazen includes an MCP server, so Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients can send messages, read history and manage groups using your API key. It's on every plan.
What happens to my data if I stop?
When a trial or subscription ends, your account and its data are kept for 30 days in case you come back, then deleted.
